We paid a visit to Lacey, DaVinci, Cloe (a Deni/Koby adult puppy pet that lives in the same home) and the puppies. They are as beautiful and their pups from Lacey's first 2 litters. Lacey looks great, you'd never even know she has puppies. DaVinci is looking dapper. They say he is a different dog since he got neutered last month. He has calmed way down and sleeps all the time.
We weighed and microchipped the puppies while we were there. They are way so much bigger than PB's puppies, but not as old.
Harley is a pretty boy. He is going to have a beautiful coat and look like his mother when he grows up. He weighs 3 pounds 13 ounces.
Lexie is the next to smallest at 3 pounds 10 ounces.
Miley weighs 3 pounds 13 ounces.
Bernie is the biggest at 4 pounds 5 ounces.
Pearl is my favorite. I love her coat. It is glossy and will be a terrific fleeces. She is going to look like a black version of her mom when she grows up. She weighs 3 pounds 14 ounces.
Betty is the smallest at 3 pounds 4 ounces.
Marley is the second biggest at 4 pounds 3 ounces.

Peanut and Bradley's puppies
Just look at these puppies. They are so cute and so tiny. It is hilarious to see them running around and playing and doing the same things as the doodle puppies, but in micro form.
This is Ginter (Gunter), also known as The Crow. He is the first born and the biggest. He weighs a whopping two pounds.
Here is Jelliehere is another picture of herShe is the second born, the only girl, and the smallest of the litter, 1 pound 7 ounces. She is definitely her mother's daughter. Michelle wants to keep her.
This is Tod/Tyler with a There is another pictureThis one is my favorite. If we were keeping one, he would be my choice. He is so cute, has great markings, and will have a long coat. He is the smallest boy, 1 pound 8 ounces.
This is Wall E, aka Tyler with 3 spots. He weighs 1 pound 11 ounces. He is the cuddler of the bunch. He just wants a nice old comfy cozy lap in which to sleep. He is going to make someone very happy. Kristin hopes she will get to take him when she gets an apartment.

Peanut goes back to the vet
Peanut started having diarrhea again. She is no where near as bad as last time. It just started yesterday and is not total liquid (yet). I left work early (I still looove my job) and took her to the vet that is less than a block from my house. I really like this vet. It is the first time I met her. She called the vet hospital were PB was before and found out what all they tested her for and treated her with. The hospital never did figure out just what it was. They simply treated her broad spectrum antibiotics and deworming. This vet did an additional test and found out exactly what it is, and gave me the medicine for it. She also gave me medicine for Bradley to treat him so they won't pass it back it and forth. Total cost? Less than $50.00. I like this vet.

Poor Fred
Michelle's favorite puppy's name is Fred. Right from the very beginning Fred was the most talkative and most mobile one in the pack. He seemed perfectly normal and healthy. Over time he gradually became skinny and got a big head. Yesterday he started crying more, and by night time he yelled whenever he was awake. Today he started screaming whenever he was awake. We can no longer put off what needs to be done. It is completely obvious he is hydrocephalic (water on the brain), has a horrible headache, and will die an agonizing death if we don't have it done humanely. I called around to find a vet that is open and will see us right away. Today is Saturday (of course). I ended up going to the vet hospital where Peanut Butter was recently. Because Poor Fred is so tiny, less than a pound, they had to have him breathe in some sleepy-time gas so he would be asleep (literally) when they injected the euthanasia serum directly into his heart. Poor Fred is dead. This has really affected Michelle. It was kind of hard on me too, but I've been around and have learned not to let myself get too attached anymore. For Michelle though, this is her first litter and this was her favorite puppy. This is the puppy she always held whenever she watched TV or cruised the 'net. She loves her Chihuahua's and was all set to keep this little puppy. She couldn't/didn't go to the vet with me. Poor Michelle, I hate seeing her go through this. I understand though, I've been there/done that/wrote the book.
Peanut now has four puppies. She is doing well now.

Lacey and DaVinci have puppies!!
Oh my goodness! I just found out Lacey had puppies at her guardian's house last week. I didn't even know for sure she was pregnant. Lacey and DaVinci live at the same guardian home. Their parents tried to keep them apart during her cycle so she wouldn't get pregnant this cycle. Well stuff happens and they did get hooked up once or twice. That is all it took. She has 7 puppies. She has:
1 chocolate girl
1 chocolate boy
3 black girls
2 black boys
They seem to all be healthy and beautiful.
The guardian daddy built a whelping box and they are going to raise the pups.

PB comes home
Peanut Butter got to come home from the hospital today. Let's see...a Sunday night shift trip to the ER and a 24 hour stay in the hospital...do you think maybe it was expensive? Yes, as a matter of fact it was. It was around $550.00 or so. We are going to continue syringe feeding until PB feels better. I tried tube feeding them, but they choked more then the doodle puppies. I just didn't feel comfortable doing it. Michelle is such a big help. She is pitching right in and doing as much, if not more, than I am. She is more than happy to do what needs to be done as long as I let her know what to do. I'm so not used to that. It is great. I was able to go to work today because Michelle was home and fed the pups. Anyway, we brought PB home and she is much better.
